The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has officially notified its members regarding the upcoming Information Systems Audit (ISA) Course Assessment Test scheduled under the 3.0 Syllabus. The announcement, released on 2nd June 2026, outlines all critical details including the examination date, mode of conduct, applicable fee, and the online registration window. Examination Date, Time and Mode
The ISA Assessment Test (ISA – AT) is scheduled to be held on 25th July 2026 (Saturday). The test will be conducted in a single session running from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM (IST), spanning a total duration of four hours.
Important: The examination will be conducted exclusively through Computer Based Test (CBT) Mode. No offline or pen-and-paper mode will be available for this assessment test.
This format ensures a standardised and technologically consistent assessment experience for all eligible ICAI members appearing across various locations in India.
Eligibility Criteria
Participation in the ISA Assessment Test is not open to all ICAI members. The following conditions must be satisfied:
- The candidate must be a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India
- The member must have already completed registration with ICAI for the ISA Course
- The member must fulfil all eligibility conditions as prescribed by ICAI from time to time
Members who have not yet registered for the ISA Course are advised to check the ICAI website for course registration details before applying for this assessment test.
Examination Centres Across India
The ISA Assessment Test will be conducted at multiple centres spread across various states and Union Territories of India. Availability of a particular centre is subject to a sufficient number of candidates opting for that location. ICAI has explicitly reserved the right to withdraw any examination centre at any stage without assigning any reason.
